Scotland

So we arrived there via kings cross station : ) and then went to our hostel! Once settled we went and walked the Royal mile and went in every little scottish shop we could! I so was tempted to buy bagpipes, believe you me! Then we went and watched Scottish parliament... not gonna lie kinda boring (talking about the swine flu) and then we went to Edinburgh castle.
Our second day we wore workout clothes and took to the moutains for an intense morning hike! It was so beautiful and so worth the burn. I had my Ipod and was listening to the braveheart soundtrack when I reached the top of a cliff overlooking the ENTIRE edinburgh valley! It was SO WINDY! and Mom you would have been scared but it was so BEAUTIFUL!
Then that day we went to the scottish national gallery and did the ghost tour of Edinburgh to their underground valuts! Not way scary but the guy was a really good story teller so we heard some truly intersting stories. I'll tell you one torture one when I get home! So gruesome, never had heard of it!
The biggest difference I noticed between London and Edinburgh scotland was the men, the women, and the fashion, and the buildings. Edinburgh is a little more open and a lot older looking. Cobblestone streets, dark buldings, Older buildings, puffer men, and uglier women. That is the description I can best give you.
The nature of Scotland is so PRETTY! My favorite moments where on this Island we got a boat ride to called Ichamamore! I can't describe in words how pretty it was! So lush so small and so beautiful! Then the William Wallace monument had the best forest path I've ever seen!
SO PRETTY!

Pictures of the sites I saw in Scotland

Inchamahome Island!

 Priory ruins on the island

Bagpiper's : ) The main street of Edinburg there are at least 2 random bagpipers on the side for the tourists.

Stirling castle, this is the castle that from its walls you can see the William Wallace monument. Its not located in the capital of Edinburgh, we had to take a bus to get to it.

Stirling Castle view from the city below.

What my hostel room looked like minus the boys, the boy with the laptop is where I slept haha!

The hike we did that was the best hike of my life! It overlooks edinburgh and is so Scottish and beautiful and windy! Its called King Arthur's seat.

Edinburgh Castle, set on a hill, such a ligit castle located in Edinburg Scotland, the city we were staying in.

Edinburgh! We crossed that bridge when we first got there, under the bridge is were the train is located.

Edinburgh typical street

Edinburgh underground valuts that we paid to have a ghost tour guide take us to.

William Wallace sword, yep it was 5 feet tall! What a MAN!

William Wallace Monument (yep I was at the top and kissed it!) the forest path leading up to it looks like the forests you see in the movies like Robin Hood.

SCOTLAND!!!!

So mom and dad I'm marrying a Scottish man!!
For so long I have wondered
"where have all the good men gone, and where are all the gods! Where's the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds. Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed. Late at night I toss and I turn and I dream of what I need!!!!"

And apparently it is a Scottish man! haha! Seriously though we were sitting outside a pub (nine of us American girls) and I don't know why the heavens were smiling down upon us because groups of Scottish boys around 23-26 kept passing us by! They were so PUFF and ATTRACTIVE! Not weird pale, red haired boys, like fo hawk brown hair, tanned, good smile, MEN!!!

Sadly though no P.S. I love you moment happened to me : ( Sincerely feeling sad about that haha

Group Pictures from Scotland

Are you a Braveheart fan? We had so much fun traveling up to the very top of William Wallace's monument. The whole group was up there at one time so we of course took one rather large group photo. The afternoon was spent with this gorgeous group of ladies eating are way through Scotland, let's just say we were dealing with some cravings that night that needed to be satisfied.

Walking around London

Bayswater road, best comparison I can do is its like our Redwood Road in South Jordan, Utah. Today I walked around, piecing London together in my mind. I'm trying to see every bit of London I haven't seen yet, and I'm trying to figure out where everything is so if I didn't have the buses or underground I'd still be able to figure out where places are. So I did like four hours of walking today and loved it! Because I really do like riding the underground so I always just resort to that, so I'm worried I'm missing out on actually seeing London.

Tomorrow I board a train at kings cross station for Scotland! SO HARRY POTTER! So i won't be updating this till Sunday! So love ya all and have fun! I'm heading off to William Wallace, underground crypts, and castles!!

London Symphony

So on Sunday I gave my first relief society talk ever!!!!! And it was a serious subject which I think is always a little harder to teach because there's a chance people won't really "discuss" and then your basically just giving a talk. But I love the ward I'm in, the majority is from Africa and still have African accents and I love their comments! Then we went to the Barbican and watched the London symphony perform Brahms, Elgar, and Stravinsky. Symphonys is always like watching a river, their bows like do the wave as you watch. And I love the pieces were their all sawing away on their instrument, throwing their bodies into it.Today I went to the V&A musuem and then ran some errands. I love this city so much and I want to stay here!
